Obtaining a domain name for your website is one
of the first things required in creating a web presence. Just a
couple years ago it was necessary to visit Network Solutions to obtain a
domain name. There simply was not any other vendor for domain names,
especially a .com, .net or .org domain name. In the last year or so
numerous options for obtaining domain names have appeared in the domain
name marketplace, including not only the .com, .net or .org domains but
also any of a number of country top level domains. Below is a
